iPad Pro Thread-Plate

The SV iPad Thread-Plate (M4) designed with all the mounting points, customizability and durability you need to turn an iPad into an on-set technical machine.

Featuring an abundance of 1" spaced 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, Arri Locking Pins and 100x100 and 75x75 VESA mounting holes, you can mount any accessory or battery you need on-set. Split Village Video commonly uses iPad Pro 11" as portable and accurate OLED on-set monitors for quick playback, live monitoring and colour accurate analysis in conjunction with third party accessories - like an Acsoon Seemo or QTAKE Screenport.

Handle Customisability
Creating a perfect fit handle for every shape and size turned out to be an impossible task for us, so we thought to design our handles in a way that allows for interchangeable 3D printed handle grips. Either include our PETG-CF textured handles in your purchase, or get in touch for help in designing your own custom grips (screws included).

Initial Prototype
The initial prototype was designed by Caeden in 2023 specifically for a TV series looking to incorporate an iPad permanently onto a director's video cart. A simple task initially designed to hold an iPad up for scripts and digital storyboards turned into a fully fledged threaded plate system. With popular demand from other departments, we have polished the design, crunched the numbers and brought it to market to see what the public can use it for.
